White
Waterfall is situated in Thanh An Commune, Minh Long District, about 35
km from Quang Ngai City and 25 km from the centre of Nghia Hanh
District where there used to be the seat of Headquarters of the
Administrative Committee of the sourthern central region during the
Resistence War against the French colonists.
Surrounding the waterfall is an area of consecutive mountains and hills painted with green colour of trees, fresh and quiet.
From the height of over 40 m the waterflow falls like a fairy loosing her hair in the wind.
Arriving at the White Waterfall on the hottest sunny days of June of Lunar Calendar, visitors may think it is autumn.
He
who comes may feel lost in the beauty and majesty of the nature,
listening to the singing birds, howling animals and the sounds emitted
from people in their milpas.
There
are at the foot of the waterfall also two natural lakes, each of about
100 m2 large filled with clear and fresh water in which visitors can
enjoy swimming.
Huy Mang Stream rises in Vang Ke Mount where two tributaries of Nuoc Xim and Nuoc La meet.
The
stream, which lies northeast of Son Dung Commune about 2 km from the
centre of Son Tay District, is an ecotourist attraction.
On
the stream meandering between the 2 mountains of Kylin and Yocralung
just prior to inflowing into Rin river are a number of waterfalls with
an average height of 15-20 meter.
Along
the both sides of the stream grow secular trees, grass and wild
flowers, and stand villages and hamlets of Cadong people living in their
original houses on stilts.
Huy Mang is also a large area of forests and mountains, home of a legend on a love between a Cadong boy and a Hre girl.
